Hey everyone, two weeks ago I was put on Zoloft for anxiety (25mg) to start. I have just recently increased it to the recommended dosage of (50mg) about 3 days ago. My friends would like to go out and have a few drinks. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience on what to expect? I talked with my doctor and they said after I should take a few weeks off (which I have) but then I should be fine. I also did some research and it said that mixing SRI’s with alcohol could increase my symptoms. I’m not a big drinker to begin with and I only plan to have one drink with dinner. I guess my only question is what is everyone’s experience when drinking on these meds. I plan to just take it slow throughout the night to see how I react but I thought I’d reach out.
