Offering some reassurance!

Hey lovelies -

Just wanted to offer some reassurance that side pain doesn’t always mean there’s a problem!

I’m 6w2d. I’ve been going through a bit of a scare this week since I’ve had a persistent lower right abdominal pinching/pain that comes and goes and can be quite sharp. I became worried when I woke up yesterday morning and sneezed, it felt like I got stabbed in that same spot. I wouldn’t have been so worried if it was just cramping all over, but this pain was very localized in only one spot. No bleeding or spotting.

My doctor sent me for some blood work and an ultrasound and everything came back completely normal. Baby is in the right spot, no ectopic and my HCG levels are good. Doc just said it can be growing pains even on one side, but it was good to make sure.

Absolutely call your doctor if you’re worried as a precaution. Just sharing my story to maybe ease some anxiety like I had.

TLDR: localized right lower abdominal pinching and pain was normal.
