Baby daddy telling his parents
So me and my ex are having a baby (yes I know it’s not an ideal situation but mistakes happen)
Well my ex has decided he wants nothing to do with the baby. That’s fine and I’ve accepted I’ll be doing this on my own (I couldn’t give up this opportunity when I was told I couldn’t have kids)
Well I’ve held off on announcing my pregnancy on Facebook and to a lot of people due to him not telling his parents.
It’s come to the time I can’t really hide my pregnancy for much longer and I wanted to show them the respect of him telling them before I announced it on Facebook (I have them on Facebook)
Well I’ve told him today that he needs to tell them and he said I’ll tell them when I’m ready.
I’m sorry but why do you have to be ready?
I’m only doing this out of respect but he has nothing to do with my child or my pregnancy and honestly doesn’t show his support or that he cares. (Even tho he said he would support my decision and we are friends)
Am I wrong for wanting to post it on Facebook now even tho he hasn’t told his family?
I know they’re going to have a lot to say and to question that if it’s his or not (which it is)
I’m excited (yes I’m really nervous) but I’m so excited about my pregnancy and I can’t keep acting like I’m not pregnant or not wanting to show my excitement.
EDIT!!
Thank you ladies, I need a cute idea for my announcement to post on Facebook!!
I don’t know why I thought I’d let him control my pregnancy, he controlled my life before but his not doing that anymore.
Thank you to the lady who suggested hiding them from my post. I didn’t think of that but do you know what. I’m just going to be petty and let them see it.
I know their whole family is going to talk.
