Pain after using bidet?

A few days ago I used the bidet my husband got. I wasn't interested in using it, just I was on my period and my husband said I should use it since it would probably feel cleaner than just wiping. I gave it a shot since he kept mentioning it, well I wish I hadn't. Since using it, I've experienced dryness, itching, honestly I feel like I did after having my daughter. There's so much discomfort and feels swollen, idk what to do. Has anyone had any kind pain after using a bidet? What did you do? I want to go see the Dr but we just moved so I don't have one yet.
