Should I get a Double stroller?

Question

Due Sept 5th with #2 and my daughter will be three in November. Wondering if we’ll need a double stroller. I could only see maybe using it if we go to bigger places like the zoo, amusement parks etc which wouldn’t be often.
Right now when we go on walks with my daughter we don’t use a stroller at all. Wondering if you guys find them useful or not?

We went with the wagon. But we didn’t Do that until now and then baby #3 was on the way. My first two are 2 years apart and we never used a double. Oldest will be 5 and sister 3 when baby is born. I’m thinking of the maxi cosi coral xp car seat that turns into a wearable seat or some other form of baby wearing for adventures out… and then of course we have the wagon where all three can fit, even the car seat 😄

I'm team wagon for 2. My toddler isn't a fan of the stroller anymore.

Mine was only 21 months when baby #2 came along and we never did use a double.  She was too independent by that time anyways.  A wagon is the way to go in my opinion!

My daughter will be 3 in December, we aren’t getting a double stroller. We have a 2 seater wagon that we use for her now on outings and will add the baby once he is old enough to sit up. Before that I will probably jus put the baby in a carrier if I need to use the stroller for my daughter, but she generally doesn’t like the stroller unless she is tired.

I just got a standing board and attached it to my single stroller. I have an almost 3 year old and 11 months old. My baby sits on the stroller while my toddler is standing. Some even come with a little seat attached! She loves the rides!

We use our double a lot for neighborhood walks, and because we have Disney annual passes. But to be fair. I purposely purchased our stroller before our first born knowing it could convert to a double.

If you aren’t a person who goes on longer walks, or is out and about in bigger places, like you mentioned, it probably isn’t necessary. We use it ours constantly on long walks, up and down hills.

I bought  my double stroller  2 years ago, is those ones that you can transform for 2 or 1 baby. Was $400 buy I got it in sale for around $160 with the car seat and everything.  Now I checked around just to see and they are more expensive. I would check Facebook market place. My son loves the strollers  he is 3.

I debated as well but ultimately ended up getting one off marketplace after discussing with other moms! Think it’ll be easier to manage two when I’m on my own with the double for sure.
