Did anyone else have their placenta too close to cervix? And did it eventually move?

Mine was a complete previa at 22 weeks. By 30 weeks, it moved 1.2cm. My OB is comfortable letting me try vaginal delivery at least 1cm away, but said his partners are “conservative” and would not unless it’s 2cm or more so I’ll have another scan at 34 weeks.

We caught mine at the 20 week anatomy scan and then it moved by the 34 week scheduled ultrasound.
My midwife more than not they do move. Depending on how close they are to the cervix some Drs will still allow vaginal delivery (I would have had to go 2 hours away for delivery since none of the Drs in our hospital are specialized in delivering with a partial placental abruption.
If it hadn't moved by 34 weeks, there was an ultrasound at 36 weeks and if it had not moved at 38 weeks I would speak with the OB about C-section. (That was our schedule, yours could be different)
