Gestational Diabetes experiences?

I am currently 37 weeks and found out I have GD 
I am freaking out 
What were your experiences???

It’s ok . I’m surprised you found out so late . 
You still need carbs just lower amounts . Do not go carb free

Take a deep breath and relax first of!
Mine was completely controlled by diet and it was annoying but that was the biggest issue really 😅
I have had zero issues since birth. My daughter had zero issues and she followed her weight curve up until birth and came completely average.
Deep breath! It's scary, I know!! But it's monitored now and you can get help to get it in check 🙏

It’s not to bad but it does suck! They will put you on a carb diet. I could only have 30 carbs for breakfast and lunch & dinner was 40 snacks was 15! I was able to stay diet controlled thankfully. After having my daughter everything went back to normal.
