Bacterial vaginitis

Hiya !
I’m 17 years old and have recently got BV. I don’t have any symptoms but I have the smell and I’m embarrassed as I also have a boyfriend. I’m on the implant which means we have unprotected sex and now I’m scared I’m going to smell forever. I have the gel, so I am getting treated but does anyone else have any tips ? Does it go ?
Anything just to ease my anxiety.

Hey girl! I’ve had BV before and it sucks! I definitely recommend seeing your PCP for a round of antibiotics! Personal hygiene is also key along with using one of these boric acid tablets! I use these even if I feel like my PH balance is off. It will make you produce a bit of discharge once the tablet has dissolved so wear a panty liner! :) another thing I found is drinking LOTS of water and taking a vaginal probiotic!
