First time mom

Hey sisters sooo I’m giving birth in two weeks to a baby boy..super excited and nervous. I just want you alls thoughts and opinions without attacking me lol. Especially if you’re a mom.

My husband and I live in the city and both of our parents are about 25/30 mins away from us. My parents have a house…i was told my old room would be the baby’s room. On the other hand my husband parents aren’t so stabled.. they live in an extended stay with one bed and a couch sharing one bathroom (his mom, his dad, 2brothers, and sometimes one their girlfriend will be over) his mom and brother smokes..and im sure they wouldn’t smoke in front of him but honestly the space is just too clustered. I don’t want my son spending a night or visiting over there too long..is that shallow? Rude? Unfair? She’s such a sweet lady and so supportive and excited about being a first time grandma. I told her she always welcomed to watch him and stuff but it’ll have to be at our apartment. I don’t mind paying for her gas. We have a one bedroom but it’s more spacious you know… besides he’s a new born.. and at the end of the day I’m responsible for him. I’m hoping they’ll get a place soon but it’s been like that for over 2years. Thoughts? Opinions?
