It is the Holy Month of Ramadan for us Muslims and I love to educate people on my religion and practices. It is a really important time for us worshippers, and a chance to get closer to God. What would you like to know about Ramadan?

so i know most muslims fast during ramadan, but i’ve also heard that includes not taking medication during that time. is that true? if so, how does that work as far as withdrawals & stuff?

2. What decides when the date should be? EG. Thanksgiving falls on the second Monday of Oct
3. Was there an event that started the tradition? Like for Christans, Easter is to celebrate Jesus' death and his rise from the dead
