Birth center vs hospital

If you’ve done both what would you say pros and cons are? I want to have my first at a birthing center because it seems more comfortable, homey, less restricted and go with the flow vs a hospital but then I think what if an unexpected emergency happens? It would be better to be in the hospital. I overthink things so I’m probably just overthinking that too right? What would you/did you do?
