Spotting during ovulation?

I had spotting on cycle days 17 and 18, which would normally be around the time I ovulate. I'm not on any BC and haven't been for years. I've only had two or three cycles back since having my daughter (she's 10 months) but they have been on time. And with my other two children as soon as my cycle returned it was back every month and roughly on time. I've never had spotting when I ovulate. It that even a thing? It definitely wasn't heavy enough to be a period.

I've recently moved back in with my parents so I was wondering if my cycle was changing because of that but still have no clue why I would be bleeding so early. Any ideas anyone?
