Has anybody switched from similac pro advabced to sams brand successfully?

We don't have a Sam's Club membership but we do have one for Costco. We successfully switched from Similac Pro Advance to Costco's brand. We did it cold turkey as our Similac cans got recalled.

Yes we used the purple one because our son spit everything up

I switched my daughter from Similac advanced pro to the advantage version sold by Amazon, Kroger, Target  and Costco. At different times when she was on formula. 
I also successfully switched her to a enfamil. I did it cold Turkey because she wasn’t taking too well to similac and the price was insane. 
Walmart or Sam’s Club shouldn’t be an issue.
