At what age did you transition to a regular bathtub?

I did it whenever my babies were able to sit up by themselves.

Immediately 🤷🏻‍♀️ we never used a baby bathtub. I just got in the tub and supported him with my knees.

When he was like 4 months old but I also would bath with him and hold him (it was more of a bonding thing and I needed a bath too and since he would cry if I got in without him and still does i just bathed with him

My daughter is 14m and we just had to buy a toddler tub. Our bath is too deep to comfortably lean over the side, and she always tries to stand up in the big tub (and slips and falls, despite there being a nonslip mat in the bottom 😩)

I always bathed my daughter in a regular bath. When she was 0-3 I’d say we held her in the shower with us, when she started getting more wiggly we would put a small amount of water in the tub and lay her down and then when she was able to sit/crawl we just added more water

When he was sitting basically, don't remember the age. We got a non slip mat in tub also.

For me I don't transition until they are close to one because before that they are still working on getting the hang of it and one fall in the bath tub can cause fear of water and that I want to avoid as much as possible I've felt with water fear from my cousin and let me tell you that's no fun at all

I waited until my son outgrew the baby tub, around his first bday. It worked really well for us

I transitioned to showers as soon as my kids were standing on their own. Until then they used the baby bath tub because it was a waste of water to fill up the  full size tub.

Thank you! We've been using a multistage baby tub but I feel like she's growing out of it
