my mother in law keeps pissing me off.. my boyfriend and I are expecting our first baby & were 24.. it’s her 4th grandchild & she’s pissing me off.. one I told everyone our baby name & she’s like why Alexander ? like why not another name ? you should pick a different one .. also, we have 4 dogs & as soon as we told her I’m pregnant she was like so you’re getting rude of two dogs! & I was like uhm no! ☺️ & yesterday my boyfriend & I were in the car with her, my boyfriend ran into the store & she was like “omgggg, what are you gunna do with 4 dogs & a babyyy!?” I was like “live our life like we’ve been..” she goes “what if it comes down to your guys baby eating or the dog eating like what are you gunna do?” I’m like “uhm I’m getting wic & the dogs food costs $30 every like 2 weeks, if that”.. she then stops talking for a bit & was like “what about the dogs jumping on you.. like your gunna be holding a baby & the dogs jump on me, they are gunna jump on you”.. I was like “the dogs jump on you when you first come in, they rarely jump on me & they are gentle” then she pauses & then goes “what if they like don’t like the baby at all & want to always be on the baby, what if they attack the baby” I was like “I’m not going to leave the baby unattended with the dogs.. my dogs have never been aggressive towards anyone & they’ve been around babies before & we’ll slowly introduce baby clothes & baby stuff before the baby is born”.. she then pauses & goes “I just think it’ll be to much & you should get rid of two dogs” & I literally said “well I don’t care.. you can keep telling me to get rid of my dogs but I’m not getting rid of any of my dogs no matter what you say”.. she then stopped talking bc my boyfriend got in the car.. she’ll only bring it up when he’s not around & it pisses me off.. like I already have a feeling she’s gunna step over boundaries .. shes pissing me off & if she brings it up one more time, istg imma snap… the dogs are huskies btw.
