Crushing- ish

There's this boy and I'm crazy about him. He is so attractive and I can't help it I get confused why I like him so much because I don't even know his personality well and I have a go at myself. I feel there is chemistry between us as when I see him around we just look at eachother and my heart drops every time. I think he likes me sometimes although he is popular  and I don't think he would even consider going out with me because he cares about his popularity too much and what everyone thinks of him. And I know because of this I shouldn't like him. What should I do??
