Our baby training.....
Until I get my BFP he will have to do. 😉 just wanted to share my "baby training". Having a new puppy in the house has been a ride. Up all hours of the night, my husband & I taking turns getting up to feed him or take him potty. We were up the other morning at 2am and never went back to bed before we both left for work at 5 & 7! We each have "nights" where we are in charge now of who gets to get up with him. We worry about him during the day while he is in his kennel, if he is scared, hungry, or having accidents. We drag through work cause we got almost no sleep the night before. But then when we get home we come home to a happy little boy, we love watching him play with his big brother (fur brother). And when we do this, we kind of forget that he kept us up all night, or about the little accident he had on the floor a few minutes ago. Now, I've never had an actual baby, but I imagine it feels a little bit like this. Each time he does something new, like goes a little longer without needing to go potty, makes a cute little squeak or bark, or whines a little less at night, I just imagine one day that'll be my baby. That'll be my actual baby crying and keeping me up at night, that'll be my baby making me worry sick while I'm at work. Making me laugh when he or she plays at night, and making me smile when they take their first step or say their first word. Don't get me wrong - I understand the difference between a puppy and a baby. My puppy will be trained most likely within the next 6 months. My baby will take years and years of "training", hard work, and dedication to raise him or her to the person we want them to be. But for now, we will practice on this little guy. And love every second of it!
