Has anyones partner couldn’t go in with them for a private 3D ultrasound ?

Just wondering if I’m thinking about this too much or not as where I’m from they allowed partners to go appointments and ultrasounds, my partner has been to every single one of my appointments and ultrasounds since Covid they have limited the amount of people you can bring to an appointment but partners are still allowed or I should say at least 1 person is allowed! I went for a 3D ultrasound today and as we going into the room the tech said my partner couldn’t come in so I asked why and he couldn’t get me a legit answer all he said was “he’s not allowed” and I told him well I wouldn’t be getting the ultrasound done if my partner isn’t present and he said “oh well” and walked away. Less than 5 mins later the front desk lady called me and asked why I didn’t come back to her and I told her what happened and she said that’s strange partners are allowed she then told me she’ll sort it out and give me a call back tomorrow. I honestly wouldn’t like to hear the reason why they wouldn’t let my partner in but I also don’t feel 100% going back to this place.
