40 w 3 days Not dilated

So today I had my 40 week appt and found out I'm not dilated. I'm doing a water birth and my midwives said a lot can change quickly. I just got bummed out because I've been having cramping on and off since 35 weeks along with stomach tightness here and there. Sunday night my husband and I thought it was going to be the night because I was beginning to feel stronger pains. My lo is in the pelvis but at a -4 so not fully in there. They told me not to worry but I'm a worry wart and I just want him here already 😅 anyone experience this and everything be fine lol
