I do like my menstrual cup, but I can never seem to get in a fully satisfying pee while it is in. No big.. i just take it out and wipe it with a paper towel when in public and at home I rinse it. It holds a lot of blood and makes me more conscious of my blood's color and how much I am losing every cycle. I do prefer to use Shethinx period underwear, though! They have different kinds of styles for different kinds of flows to accommodate. So comfortable and they accept afterpay. Reusable is the way to go.

I got a set of reusable discs for $10 off Amazon. I really like them. They hold a good bit, but I use cloth pads for back up because if I cough or sneeze with it in, my pelvic floor will crush it and squish everything out. Wouldn't be as much of an issue if I'd remember to empty it more, but I'm a mom with 2 young kids who can barely remember to feed myself, so I'm not counting on remembering. 😂 I used a cup before I had my second baby, but never found the right fit for me and I liked the Flex discs, which is why I went with them. Merula is one brand that's good for heavy flow, but it's a little trickier than the others. I have that one and it was the one that held the most, I just don't have the time to practice with it to get it in the right place, so I haven't tried it again yet. The discs I got were the EcoBlossom ones. The groups Cup Love and Put a Cup in it on Facebook would likely be helpful.
