How soon can I get an ultrasound?

Here’s my dilemma… Since I experienced a missed miscarriage (my first scan was at 9 weeks and the baby measured 6 weeks), I was advised by a friend to go to a private clinic to get an early ultrasound next time around. We just found out we’re pregnant again (yay!!!) and my question is, how soon is too soon? How early have you gals gotten your first ultrasound? I’m at 4 weeks right now iiiiitching to see it 😭

I would probably wait until at least 7 weeks.. if you go too early you might not be able to see what you’re looking for and it’ll just cause more stress. By then you’ll have a good heart beat and it’ll give you peace of mind!

I went to a private place at 6 weeks 5 days. I told them I was really anxious and they said to come on in. She said she’s seen women at 5 weeks before. She said she just wants to give them reassurance. I’d call and explain your situation and see how early you can go in

My earliest was at 5w5d and was able to see the heartbeat but i know it's common not to see anything at that point.
