Is Jacob too outdated/ common?

Don’t want there to be a bunch in his class! Also don’t want something that sounds superrr dated and 90s. Thoughts?

I know one 82year old Jacob, a 33 year old, and a 5 year old. So wouldn't say it's outdated or common.

I (28) went to middle school with a Jacob he went by Jake. I know of a couple other around my age but none that are kids and I have 1 kinder, 2 toddlers and an infant. 
Also silently crying inside that the 90s has become “super dated” 😰 lol

I find Jacob is one of those names that, yes, it's popular, but in such a way that it flys under the radar as a name .....I know that doesn't make sense but it does!
It's just classic 🤷‍♀️

Jacob is a name that isn’t ever going to be ‘old’ because it’s got too many religious connections. It will be a pretty constant level of popularity, but it’s a great name. Names like James or Matthew or Issac are similar. I wouldn’t worry about it at all.
