I am a first time mom with an 8 month old and before anyone jumps at me I know it’s too early to really know if Autism is on the table but I cannot stop researching and watching YouTube for things my baby does. I really am losing my mind and it’s making me forget to just enjoy my baby as she is. I really just direction. Please help.

Anyways. My main concern is that she has intense eye contact — which I know is typically the opposite but of course now I’m second guessing and thinking this still isn’t normal. I mean this girl could win a staring contest with a dead guy. She just STARES at strangers (and me too). Hardly smiles. But. She is smiley and giggly with me and familiar faces on a regular basis. I just get so many comments on her staring it’s really eating at me. She has big blue eyes too so people always tell me she looks like a doll—in a good way. Lol. She also is making noises and babbling but it’s not really…constant? Hardly ever cries. She is the most chill baby. If not autism, I just wonder what else? Or just not worry at all. I know. 🙈 when should I not worry???
