Should i text him?

Last night, i was feeling down and was vulnerable and opened up over text to my boyfriend, he was very good and supportive in just the right way. He even said he loved me multiple times and said sweet dreams and he loved me and wants me to be happy because it makes him happy, at the end of our long conversation. Well, today he hasnt texted me yet. I know things were kind of moody/ depressing/ vulnerable last night. Does he just want some space??? Or is he waiting for me to text him, because i am the one who has been distant. He usually texts me first. And does so every morning so this is odd. Idk if i should text him, wait for him to text me, or just not talk to him at all right now and ignore it. And here i go overthinkingg.
