VBAC without epidural ?

Question

Any mom’s have a VBAC without an epidural? I plan to attempt one with my May baby and would love to hear your experiences. Im not against an epidural, just know it can stall labor and prolong pushing, and want to attempt anything I can to avoid a repeat CS.

I had an unmedicated vbac with my second baby. I was induced with my first and had an epidural. With my second I waited and she came naturally, with a much quicker and easier labor. I felt out of control with my first birth and wanted to try to go unmedicated for that reason. I was open to an epidural depending on how long labor was lasting. My first was 30 hours and ended in a cesarean. My second was about 12 hours starting slow and then amping up. Good luck

I had an epidural with my Vbac girl. Didn’t prolong anything for me. Got to the hospital and was dilated to a 6 and from start of contractions to birth she was born in 4.5hrs. My first i was in labor for 18hrs but having an anterior cervical lip is was prevented me from having natural and she was having d cells.
