Is it normal to trow up period blood?

I threw up my period blood  one day on my first day of my period and I had to cover my mouth with a bowl I would share photos but its too graphic. What do I do?

You can’t throw up period blood…. Period blood come directly from your uterine lining and exits out the vagina. It doesn’t connect to your stomach or esophagus or anything like that. You can throw up normal blood, but that’s completely different and if you are throwing up any blood at all, I’d definitely see a doctor asap or go to the hospital.

That is absolutely not physiologically possible. Your uterus does not connect to your digestive system in any way that blood could travel up through your bowel, stomach, and esophagus. If there was in fact blood in your vomit, that is of concern, but it doesn’t have anything to do with your period. See a doctor

You can’t throw up period blood. Maybe you ate something red but if it’s regular blood you might want to go to the hospital you could be suffering internal bleeding and that can kill you.

As others said, you can't throw up period blood. Your reproductive system is completely separate from your digestive system. You either threw up something red (fruit punch, strawberries, etc) or threw up blood. If you think it was blood, that is absolutely nothing to mess around with. Make an immediate appointment with your primary care doctor. If it happens again in the meantime, get a sample if you can but go straight to the ER.
