Constipation no more!

Just thought this little tip might help out any mommas like me who have been struggling with constipation. My first trimester has been a recipe for constipation... too nauseated to drink enough, eating only simple carbs, not able to exercise, can't even look at coffee. I didn't love the idea of taking milk of magnesia every night, but I noticed that my reflux would get unbearable when my system got backed up too. I racked my brain trying to think of a high-fiber food that I could keep down (fruits and veggies taste terrible to me at this stage and make me more nauseous). Finally i remembers what we used to tell parents of constipated kids when I worked in pediatrics.... POPCORN! I've been eating a big serving of popcorn every afternoon. I can keep
it down no problem, and it's high in fiber. My system's been running much more *ahem* effectively since. Thought I'd throw it out there in case it might help someone else!
