birth control options???

Question

I am 23 years old and I’ve been on Nexplanon (the implant in the arm) for just over a year now as my first form of birth control. I’ve noticed a severe change in my overall mood at all times, not just my time of the month. Curious to know what everyone else uses or what the don’t use and why.

I got the implant taken out and switched to the shot since I wanted something I didn't have to think about eveyday. After that I started taking a combination pill. 
I can say that I didn't notice any difference when I was on the shot but the potential long term side effects made me not go for another. If you can remember to take a pill every day, it's worth looking into since there's so many options.
