IUD ? Liletta

Im scheduled to get liletta iud Wednesday. I’m nervous because the pill made me gain alot of weight (80 lb) and got depressed bad on it. but I really don’t want another baby soon. What’s everybody’s experience with an iud? Should I be nervous

I’m on Marina right now and I’ve actually lost weight I’m doing really well on it my periods of regulated I’m going from like two weeks to a month to like a week now there on time and they’re getting even shorter. My gynecologist suggested it for my PCOS am I endometriosis and the fact that I can’t have any regular types of contraception like the pill because of my ADHD it’s pretty easy to forget it’s there I will say though an IUD is a bitch to get in so have someone there you trust in the appointment with you holding your hands and wiping away your tears because you will cry my mom was there with me but for the peace of mind and to not have children I would do it again 100 times.
