Anyone go through this?

So I've had some brown discharge the last couple days and yesterday had some spotting. It was bright red so I called my OB office and talked to the OB on call and he said there was a chance that I would need rhogam (my blood type is rh negative and my husband's is positive) I've had rhogam with my previous pregnancy and had no issues. Though about and hour or two after receiving the shot I have been throwing up nonstop and my stomach hurts. (Not contractions) I never got sick before from any other time relieving rhogam so I'm really put off by this. Has anyone had this happen?
