If you and your husband both work. How you split the bill?

We have a shared bank account and share all bills so all bills are paid by us both. We dont spill anything

I pay for certain ones and he pays for certain ones. It’s not 50/50 but I don’t know who pays for more. 
If either of us need money we just send it to eachother.

My husband’s income pays the bills.. my income is the fun money.

We share expenses, but I have more income so it makes sense that I pay a higher percent of our household bills.

My husbands income pays the rent and all house bills. I do the grocery/ household shopping and pay for flights/clothing when we vacation lol

When I was working he paid the bills but my pay paid for our rent and my college/gas/what I wanted.

We just each take bills, we don’t split every single one. I pay more right now because I make more right now. When he makes more, he takes more of the bills. It’s all about teamwork 🤷🏼‍♀️

We split shared bills (rent, utilities, food, etc), but personal bills (car insurance, phone bills, etc.) are our responsibility unless we need help/had a bad week.

I make more right now, so I pay rent, water, electric, car insurance for all the cars, renters insurance, my car payment. He does daycare and groceries. It has been split other ways in the past. It’s an ever evolving conversation and there is no right or wrong, just what works for you.
