Sometimes periods are just late. My period was 10 days late once because I was in the midst of wedding planning and I was super stressed. But also if you’ve been sick recently that can affect your cycle. Or if you started exercising more recently. 
Any significant change in lifestyle or mental health can have an affect on your period
