Frustration with Doctors office

My doctors office has been alerted that I’m moving to another state at the end of May and we scheduled my anatomy scan for tomorrow so we can be up to date for the move. Today they call me to tell me that my ultrasound was canceled because the tech called out for tomorrow. I’ve had this appointment for 5 weeks so I was obviously kinda confused why they waited until 22 hours before the appointment to call me.

They then tell me that they can fit me in for June 8th even though it’s on my record that we are moving. I told them we can’t do that and the receptionist was very unprofessional and told me they can’t send out a referral so there’s nothing she can do and that me moving isn’t her issue. I’m frustrated because they’ve known as long as I have that I’m moving. She then said “if I really need to move before June 8th that I can pay out of pocket for an anatomy scan somewhere else”. What does that even mean and how much would that cost?? I need the scan to be accepted by an OB in the new state.
