Depends on the situation. We had a rough patch but my man had total remorse and completely turned himself around, even went to regular counseling for the better part of a year to learn how to be a better partner towards me. But I would otherwise have left, which is why I say it depends on the scenario. I don’t expect anyone to be perfect. We all make mistakes. But not repeating that mistake, having remorse, and taking actions to love you better can make all the difference instead of just saying you’ll “forgive and forget” but that person doesn’t change anything.
