Over reacting or not ?

So yesterday we went over to my husband's aunt's house so my baby could meet her great grandparents. Her grandma held her right away and kissed her and talked to her but her grandpa didn't. He didn't show interest in her at all.  my MIL was holding her and my baby's grandpa was sitting next to her. He didn't try to talk to my baby, my baby saw his hand and started touching it , but he didn't try to hold her. There was another baby there (the daughter of the grandpa) she has a baby boy. The baby boy was sitting on the floor looking at him and he picked him up and sat him on his lap and stood him up. My baby girl was watching the whole time and stood up and kept putting out her arms and touching her grandpa's shoulder because she wanted to be held as well, he completely ignored her he would just occasionally nodd at her. I feel as if he could of put the other baby down (he kept looking down at the floor anyways and wanted to get down) or he could of sat the baby on one lap and put my daughter on the other or at least hugged her. This has been bothering me since last night, especially because when we left my husband noticed it bothered me and told me his grandpa prefers boys because he has "too many grand daughter's" . I brought up the subject again today and I told him that it's not nice to favor one sex over the other no matter what he just said "it's not mean he was just tired" yea okay. and my husband said that some men just favor boys more , I don't think that's right at all! makes me not want to go visit again! my daughter probably doesn't even remember and it's bothering me more because i'm pregnant and  were having a boy this time and I will not ever tolerate anyone favoriting one over the other. They were even saying his grandpa doesn't think one of his grand daughters is his because the parents are both mexican but the baby has blondish hair and beautiful green eyes , no offense but what a dumb grandpa !
