TMI! Dairy Allergy Poop?

Question

My babies poop started off seedy and then after about 6 weeks she started having more liquid like poop every other day. She will be 10 weeks tomorrow 
…We were sick at the time it started so I just correlated it to that. Doc said to see if it works out if her system. But it seems to still be liquid like. I am nursing and supplementing with formula when I have to. 
If it is a dairy allergy do you have to completely cut out dairy or just lactose??

Looks normal to me! How many bowel movements does she have a day? Babies generally have runny poop it's the frequency that tells you if it's diarrhea. With my son who had a cow's milk protein allergy, he had mucous and a little bit of blood in his stools and was miserable all the time he was awake. But to answer your question, if your LO does have a milk allergy you would have to eliminate all dairy from your diet and supplement her with a hypoallergenic formula.

I agree this looks normal. Runny to peanut butter consistency is the goal. This color and consistency look healthy for a combo fed baby.
Typically, cows milk allergy poop is mucousy, greener, and often with blood.
