How many newborn size 0 diapers should I get?

So I’m a first time mom and buying diapers and wipes to prepare. It’s cheaper per diaper to get the large packs but will I really go through that many size 0 / NB diapers or is it possible I won’t? I do know they plan to induce me if my baby is getting too big because the women in my family have cephalopelvic insufficiency and they suspect I will have the same. So I guess I’m not anticipating a massive baby. Is it worth getting the huge newborn diaper pack or just a small one for now and large one of size 1’s ??

One large pack of newborn is all I needed. Pretty much until the belly button healed.
My babies were 8lbs when they were born.

We switched out of newborn in a week or twoostly because they cost more. My second has been in size 1 for over 2 months and isnt going to change anytime soon. To make size one work when she was smaller, we just folded the top down so it was shorter and we could still velcro the tabs. Newborn would have probably fit her for about a month but i didnt want the diapers to go to waste if they didnt

it really depends on the baby! my baby was 9 pounds at birth and only wore newborns for a week. then only wore size 1 for a month and a half. he’s two months, 15 pounds and in a size two! on the bright side as long as the box is unopened, you can return them for a different size at walmart or target!

Start with at least one big pack. Both my girls were on the bigger side (8lb 14 oz, 8lb 11oz) and still used them for about a month and they usually use so many in the beginning. I like to get a variety of sizes and asked for variety at my baby shower, that way you have a better idea as they grow what you'll need.

My son was 6 lbs 10 oz at birth. We used at least one big box of nb diapers. It all depends on the size of your baby. But remember that you can usually just bring a big box back to the store you bought them at and exchange them for a bigger size up. Not sure if your having a baby boy but just a little bit of info. We used pampers swaddlers on him at birth. Once he got a little bit bigger but was still a baby. We were having issues with him peeping out of his diapers at night. Even though we got up with him ever three hours through the night. A good friend recommended pampers baby dry diapers at night time. This was a game changer for us. It made my life easier and no more peeping out of his diapers at night. Also, keep his penis covered up with a diaper while ur grabbing wipes or cream or whatver or just till your ready to change his diaper or else you might get peed on. I got peed on directly in my face the very day we brought him home from the hospital. Lol 😂

I went for size 1 first, even that didn't last long with both my kids, probably 3-4 weeks till we switched to size 2, if you want, you can get a small pack of size 0 and see how that goes, but I don't think you can go wrong with size 1, get them as back up anyway

Depends on the baby really . My daughter was born at 6 pounds and she stayed in newborns for a while , at least 2-3 months I think . Personally I wouldn’t get a big pack of them if baby is already on the bigger side. Buy a small one and take the leftovers from the hospital .

Totally depends! Both my kids stayed the longest in 1&2. Im going to start buying 1’s and 2’s for this new baby soon. I have decent sized babies (over 8lbs, 22+ inches) so I never really use newborn for long!

Really depends on the baby. My sons were only 1 ounce apart at birth (7 lb 9 oz, 7 lb 10 oz) and my first was in newborn for like a month, my second needed size 1 by like 2 weeks.
Sizes can vary between companies too. Like Honest runs super small, so we use them as “half sizes” almost between Pampers sizes.
