Moving out at 20?
So recently I have come to terms with the fact that I need to move out. My parents are very emotionally abusive and are the biggest bullies I know and I dread coming home everyday because of all the insults, that it has dragged me into a depression. It's not even like silly things things that normal teenagers just complain about to complain about; they will literally stare at me and find something to make fun of, or find something to screech at me for, they put me down all theme and call me names and say I'm never going anywhere in life. My father even goes into my room and checks in my wallet how much money I have, and if I have all my money on debit he demands to know how much I have. It's getting ridiculous. Two of my best friends also want to move out , and we are considering moving out together. I want to save up a good amount first this year, and by the time I move out I'll be almost 20. I know I have to do this for my own mental health, and I work two jobs, but I keep reading these horror stories about people moving out too young and it never works out. Is this true, and what age were you guys when you moved out?
