My father in law is planning a celebration of life for his partner we just lost suddenly to cancer. He doesn’t want to host a funeral, he doesn’t want anything depressing. he wants people to have fun, remember all the good times when Mario was around and basically just have a party in his honour.

I have never been to a celebration of life and not sure what is and isn’t appropriate attire for one.

I was leaning toward this dress because it’s bright and fun but was worried it may be too much… any suggestions?
