Did you have to provide baby and postpartum stuff for after delivery?

So this is my first baby so I wasn’t going off experience I was going based on what others told me. And literally everyone told me the hospital provides all if not most of the baby stuff and postpartum needs, like pampers, blankets, baby soap, sanitary napkins, etc. well I was going off the hospital provides everything like I already have my hospital bags packed lol. Well today I was transferred to the hospital where I’ll deliver from my OBGYNs office and they gave me a list of stuff for which me and baby will need, even my own gown I’ll be needing to provide!

It definitely caught me off guard but luckily I have 95% of everything that’s on the list as I did buy stuff to prepare for when baby and myself comes home so it’s just a matter of packing them now. And picking up one or two items from the store.

I’m not upset at all I was just under the impression the hospital provides these stuff, I mean after all that’s what everyone told me lol😆
