So basically, I'm moving in with a friend who I also work with. She's a couple years older than me & has a little boy. I'm close with her, & her kid, and we have connected extremely well since I've known her. Now it's the day before we sign on our apartment and we're discussing bill details (previous agreement was to split EVERYTHING no matter what) & it came to a debate over cable. Her mentality was that I needed to take care of the cable bill every month because she would hardly use it..  My response was that it wasn't fair on top of everything else, & that it was as absurd as me saying I shouldn't have to pay as much rent when she's using 2 of the 3 rooms of our apartment for her and her son. Am I wrong, or does that make sense? I've never had a roommate and I have no clue about what's going to make things easier. Opinions, tips, anything please..
