Early pregnancy sex ?

I just found out last Friday that I am pregnant! Great news wonderful okay….. now to get down to the nitty gritty. I am about 5 and a half weeks. I feel fine far as nausea. Super fatigued and bloated but good for the most part. I’ve been having very vivid sexual dreams which I heard is pretty common. A friend of mine said if I have sex this early it can cause a miscarriage. Is this true? Just want to be safe. Thanks.

No, sex will not cause a miscarriage. You can continue to have a regular sex life unless your OB specifically tells you not to.

Thank you guys for the sound advice lol. It seems like ever since I found out every woman in my family has something different to say. One will say don’t eat peanuts the other will say peanuts are wonderful for pregnancy lol. Thanks again for helping me feel a little more sane.

No sex won’t cause a miscarriage but don’t be alarmed if you spot a little after. This is my second I’m currently 32 wks but when I was early on after sex id spot a little it freaked me out but has something to do with changes in cervix. Other then that sex is perfectly fine if not on bed rest or told no by doctor.
