baby shower or na ?

so I had my first baby girl in March 2021 and I’m due December 2022 with my second baby girl I would like to have another baby shower since this is a new baby but I feel like some people will think I’m being selfish or talk shit about me for having another baby shower even though I just had a girl last year. What do you all think. I need advice or suggestions. TIA (:

I personally think it’s trashy. You are only supposed to have 1 baby shower. I am pregnant with my second 8 years apart and I’m not having one. Just one year apart seems extremely greedy

I'm on my 4th and I have a baby shower each time. I don't usually keep the previous items I give them to people in need knowing I can purchase more when the time comes and half the time I don't have the room to store away things. If someone is willing to throw you a baby shower I'd go for it. If you don't need as much then I'd throw something small like the others said 💞

I wouldn’t do a full blown shower. I’d do a diaper party or sprinkle. I was going to do a diaper party with my second girl (my girls are 17 months apart) but I had her right at the start of covid. So we didn’t end up doing anything. I’m due with my 3rd (boy this time) and we had a sprinkle.

I wouldn't do a full baby shower, but would do a sprinkle with a diaper raffle maybe. There are poems that you can include on the invite about big sister having plenty to share, this is a sprinkle to show that we care (I'm sure there's others, I'd look on pinterest) so it doesn't come off like a gift grab.

Maybe a baby sprinkle instead of a full blown shower cause you won't need much. I have two boys and that's what my SIL did for me.
