Vagina post birth

I’m 7 weeks post partum tomorrow. I had my 6 week checkup today and made the mistake yesterday of looking at my vagina. I wasn’t expecting what I seen. It don’t look remotely the same… is it still healing at this point or is this just how it is now. I literally cried because I feel deformed.. I mentioned my concerns to my obgyn today and he said some people need a little more time to heal and it takes time for everything to fall back into place.. im not sure if he just said that to try to make me feel better. But how long after birth did your vagina start to resemble itself again. Even my urethra looks massive . It almost looks like everything is huge and sunken in an inch or so. I’m literally so distraught over it but I want someone to be honest with me,,, is it going to heal more at this point or is this just how it is now.
