Got off the pill and have a question

Hey y’all, so in November of 2021 I got off of birth control. It’s now June 2nd and I was suppose to have my period near the end of May. I’m late by 7 days now, and I don’t think I’m pregnant. Has anyone had this happen where you miss a period 7 months after stopping the pill? I have had my period happen twice in a month prob almost every month since I’ve stopped taking birth control. A part of me is wondering if my body is just trying to get back on track of me only having my period once a month instead of it going into the beginning of a month and then happening again at the end of the month. Sorry if that doesn’t make any sense. If you have any info for me please comment.
