I got noticeable ovulation cramps CD 20 and when took an ovulation test it was positive. Then on CD 22 got more intense cramps and this test was more positive. I know you’re supposed to stop testing, but now I don’t know if I am 9dpo or 7dpo.

Ovulation is based off of your initial positive. We typically ovulate within 24 hours of that, regardless of the results that follow. A positive only means you’re still having an LH surge, and the length of the surge can vary in any given cycle, but doesn’t really have an impact on when the egg is released.

Only way to confirm is with bbt. Opks only measure for lh surge and you can ovulate between 12 to 48 hours after the first positive.
