Hi.

For years I did not take my ADHD meds in hopes that I would get pregnant and I didn’t want to be medicated at all if I were to by chance get pregnant.

I got to a point where I realized I need to just live my life while TTC because it was too upsetting to act as if I’m pregnant all the time just to get negative results month after month.

My primary doctor, my OBGYN and my fertility specialist all know that I am taking concerta while TTC and none of them seem concerned.

- my primary dr says to just stop taking it if I find out I’m pregnant.

- my OBGYN and fertility specialist both say to call my primary to see next steps to get off of the medicine if I were to get pregnant.

I just wanted to see if anyone else is also in a similar situation because I don’t like that I could get pregnant while taking these meds. I just started at a fertility clinic so I almost feel like maybe I should stop taking it now that I am taking additional steps to get pregnant. Idk I just keep thinking about the fact that all of the doctors I’m working with aren’t concerned so I should be either.
