Clogged tear duct

How long did your baby’s clogged tear duct take to resolve?

My 6 almost 7 week old has been dealing with a clogged tear duct since birth. I clean the crust off his eye multiple times a day and he hates it. I put breast milk in it once or twice a day. Haven’t really been able to do tear duct/lacrimal massages much because he hates when I touch around his eye. I don’t think it’s painful for him I think he’s just fed up with me touching it 😭

Any other tips??
