Hello! I am a t1d of 21 years. I have had diabetes since the age of 3. This is my first baby and I’m currently 24 weeks. My doctor’s told me my body would not making insulin but, now my body is resisting any insulin I take. I just need some encouragement and some advice to help get me along. My a1c first starting out was a 5.3 and as of now I don’t even WANT to know where it stands from my sugars being constantly high from resisting every drip of insulin I take. I just feel like trash since I’ve hit my 23 weeks point. Did anyone else have this issue ? What helped get you through other than knowing you are growing a great blessing?
