Birth control help

Hello, it has been awhile since I have been on this app but it was my go to for both of my boys so I figured let’s give it a shot…I currently have the nexplanon implant in my arm however it expires on the 27 of this month (June) I already have an appointment set up but am curious if anyone has gotten pregnant while on nexplanon being this close to expiration??? I looked up online and some say it’s good for a while extra year after expiration and others say the stuff is not strong enough to keep you from getting pregnant…please help.
